Meet the boy Jhajjar who enters the Guinness Book of World as the youngest app developer


A boy based in Jhajjar, who is a Class 8 student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, has developed three learning apps without any guidance and entered into the Guinness Book of World Records. In addition to this, he also traveled to Harvard University in America using his talent, according to information reported by Hindustan times.

Boy Jhajjar, identified as Kartikeya Jakhar, said his father is a farmer who bought a mobile phone which costs around 10,000 for online courses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He explained that many problems started in the mobile phone when he used it during the coding process, however, the 12-year-old boy managed it with the help of YouTube and continued his studies.

“I created three apps – one for general knowledge named Lucent GK online, second for coding and graphic design called Ram Kartik Learning Center and third was Shri Ram Kartik Digital Education. These apps provide free training to over 45,000 students at present,” the boy Jhajjar said. HT.

Talking about his source of motivation, he said, “I was inspired by PM Modi’s Digital India campaign. I also want to serve the nation.”

In addition to this, the boy also won a scholarship after qualifying for the Harvard University entrance exam. Now he is studying B.Sc in computer science in college.

Ajit Jakhar, her father, said the mobile phone he used for online lessons had a broken screen, but his high motivation and enthusiasm led him to develop three apps.

“I request the government to help my son so that he can develop more apps and grow. He is very talented. I want him to serve the nation in digital. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Minister Chief Dushyant Chautala also motivated him for his achievements,” he added, as quoted by Hindustan times.

Meanwhile, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has praised boy Jhajjar for his outstanding talent and achievements at a younger age.

“After sports, studies and the arts, my children are now spreading the name of Haryana around the world through technology. Kartikeya, a 12-year-old student from Jhajjar, has created a Guinness World Record for being the youngest app developer by developing a learning app. Congratulations and best wishes to all his family,” he tweeted.

Captain Shakti Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Jhajjar, also said, “We will organize a Kartikeya session with other students so that they can also be motivated.”
