Sunday January 9

Four Position Rifle Shooting: 9 a.m. to noon, North Leominster Rod & Gun Club, 1501 Lancaster Ave., Lunenburg. Timed – five minutes, 100 meters. Open to the public. The registration fee is $ 10 (for the first round), $ 8 for the second round and $ 5 for subsequent rounds.

Monday January 10

COVID-19 test tent: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Doyle Field parking lot, Priest Street, Leominster. Testing is done on a first come, first served basis.

Yoga for All: 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Montachusett Recovery Center, 106 Carter St., Leominster. In-person yoga and gentle zooming will be offered. The cost is free; donations are welcome. For more information, call or text 978-248-8096.

Leominster Virtual Meditation Rendezvous: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Monday meditation group that met at the Leominster Public Library is temporarily an online event due to COVID. Preschool Story Time: 10:00 a.m., Leominster Public Library, 30 West St., Leominster. Tales, music and movement for children from 3 to 5 years old. Organized by the Children’s House Dr. Martin T. Feldman.

Read Your Rabbit’s Story Time: 10:00 a.m., Leominster Public Library, 30 West St., Leominster. Hosted by Dr. Martin T. Feldman’s Children’s Room for children ages 12-24 months and a caregiver, it features songs, fun stories, and musical instruments.

Brown Bag Book Group: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Leominster Public Library, 30 West St., Leominster. This month’s book is “The Paris Library” by Janet Skeslien Charles. Bring your lunch if you wish and the library will provide drinks. This is a walk-in program and no registration is required. Standing Comedy Workshop with Jerry Caruso: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Leominster Public Library, 30 West St., Leominster. Everyone’s life is rich in comedy, and Jerry Caruso will help you “find the funny parts” of your story. Previous experience not required, just a sense of humor and a willingness to laugh.
