Fnac Darty and Manor sign a partnership agreement to deploy
Fnac shop-in-shops in 27 Manor stores in Switzerland

Geneva / Basel, Ivry, June 22sd, 2021. At the end of 2020, Fnac Suisse and Manor launched a test phase that lasts several months for the deployment of Fnac shop-in-shops in four Manor stores (Chavannes, Monthey, Biel and Vésenaz). following this successful pilot phase, Fnac Darty and Manor sign a partnership agreement aimed at deploying a total of 27 Fnac shop-in-shops within Manor before the end of the first half of 2022.

The new Fnac du Manor shop-in-shops, which will take the form of concessions with a surface area of ​​up to 1,000 m², will offer customers an unparalleled customer experience and range of products. These new spaces will offer a wide variety of products and services, as well as customer support, in the world of books, music, cinema, multimedia, games, telephony, photography, children. household appliances and accessories.

In addition to the 4 shop-in-shops already operational, Fnac spaces will open in 10 other Manor department stores in French-speaking Switzerland by the end of 2021. and in 13 others in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino in 2022(**)

, which will significantly strengthen the presence of the Fnac brand in Switzerland. 2022 will also see the arrival of Fnac on the manor.ch online store, with thousands of products for sale on the newly created Marketplace.

In return, this partnership will allow Manor stores and its manor.ch online store to benefit from Fnac Darty’s expertise and sales force in the multimedia, entertainment and small household appliances categories.

With this partnership, Fnac Darty aims to generate at least € 100 million in additional revenue over a full year, with no significant impact on the Group’s free cash flow target, which should be around € 500 million. ‘euros over the period 2021- period 2023, despite the investments linked to the implementation of the partnership.
