The overwhelming response we’ve seen from our community has been absolutely amazing. The way this community comes together to support each other, there aren’t many places like that.

4. Who influenced you the most? It would be difficult to single out just one person who has influenced my life because I have had so many. My grandfather, Fran LePage, who was an educator in the Elkton Pigeon Bay Port School District, and my father, Tom LaBelle, recently retired from Tower Automotive, taught me my work ethic that I am proud of today. I also had strong women in the workplace who helped shape and make me the person I am today. Debbie and Stacey have been such positive role models for me and have always been there for me when I needed support and guidance.

5. What is your biggest goal in life? My biggest goal in life is to make sure that I am a positive role model for my children and to teach them to be respectful, to work hard and above all, to be kind.

8. Name a book that has influenced you. I don’t have much time to read, I loved to read fiction books, but my children take up most of my time.

9. If you could be any fictional character, who would it be? Beth Dutton has a confident and strong personality.

10. Which quote do you live by? “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain. – Vivian Greene.
